WHERE: Held on the streets of Toronto surrounding Exhibition Place, a unique site situated along the shores of Lake Ontario immediately west of downtown Toronto. Exhibition Place is home to more than 100 special events and trade and consumer shows annually.
WHY: The largest annual sporting event in Ontario

THE TRACK
LENGTH: A temporary street circuit measuring a distance of 2.84 km long (1.765 miles)
TURNS: 11 turns
BLOCK: 1,000 steel-reinforced concrete barriers, with a total length that will span 12,000 feet, made using 8,650,000 pounds of concrete
FENCING: 1,200 fences, with a total length that will span 14,000 feet, made using 410,000 pounds of steel
TIRE WALL: 1,600 feet of tire wall, five tires high
ASPHALT: 5,000 metric tons of asphalt
GRANDSTAND: 1,687 linear feet of grandstand
HOSPITALITY: 1,100 linear feet of hospitality structure
THE RACES
IZOD IndyCar Series The IZOD IndyCar Series is the premier open-wheel series in the United States, competing on a challenging combination of superspeedways, short ovals, scenic road courses and temporary street circuits. In 2010, the series consisted of 18 events; 14 in the US, two in Canada, one in Brazil, and one in Japan.
Firestone Indy Lights The Firestone Indy Lights is the premier ladder series for drivers and teams striving to compete in the IndyCar Series and the Indianapolis 500.
Star Mazda Championship
The Star Mazda Championship is part of the MAZDASPEED Motorsports Driver Development Ladder and is the second step on the road to Indy. Many Star Mazda graduates have gone on to race in top-tier open wheel series, including IZOD IndyCar Series stars Graham Rahal and Marco Andretti.
Ferrari Challenge The longest-running series of its kind, the Ferrari Challenge has given Ferrari owners the opportunity to enjoy North America's finest tracks while sharing in both the competitive and social aspects of the series with fellow owners. The Challenge also gives Ferrari enthusiasts the opportunity to enjoy the cars in their natural environment - the race track.

Friday July , 2012 is Free Friday at the circuit presented by the Ontario Honda Dealers Association. All grandstands and paddocks will be open to the public free of charge with no ticket required.

General admission tickets range in price from $30 to $45. Reserved grandstand tickets range in price from $60 to $423.
